A FEW REMINDERS (again)

Before you post anything to this blog, read my two posts: the May 23 post and the June 19 post. These posts give you specific instructions on what to do. Additionally, viewing your peers' posts will also help you post correctly.  

Reminder: your blog is due and must be posted the first day of class and your argument essay is due in printed copy the first day of class. If you've already viewed your schedule, there is a very good chance it will change as counselors are still making changes (although RDS and My Big Campus are now blocked until the first day of school). I would plan to have the assignment complete by Wednesday, August 14.

The due date for the entire assignment--essay included--is the first day of class. While we did tell you it wouldn't be marked down if it wasn't turned in the first day, it will be put in the gradebook as missing until it is turned in. If none or one part of the assignment is not turned in on the first day, your deadline before it is just a 'zero' is Friday, Oct. 4. 

I STRONGLY encourage you to complete all parts of the assignment for the first day of class as trying to complete the work during the first nine weeks will be nearly impossible with the homework you will have in our class as well as your other AP/honors classes. Past students who have waited have a low success rate of completion and a low grade for the grading period as a result.
